Its just a bracket. I forgot the users name but he drives a sky blue (dunno oem color) accord. He is a mod he says it feels good.

      My thoughts on the Neuspeed

I have one that I bought for 83bucks new and used for only a few weeks. I liked it but grew out of it really quick because I wanted a shorter height shifter as well. It doesn't change the height of the shifter but only shortens the throws into every gear.

The soft, clumsy, uncertain feel of whether or not your in the neutral zone in between shifts is almost eliminated and turns that zone into a really crisp feeling to the wrist like the throws to a old Atari Joystick versus the sloppy joystick shifting lever of the oldschool Sega Daytona Arcade game

Sorry but thats my comparison. If you had a Atari and played the Daytona arcade game, you'll know what I'm talking about with the difference in "throws" lol.

Do I recommend the Neuspeed shifter?

Personally I would. It's a solid quality piece for a beginner that wants to make their CB feel more sportier without going for a OEM converted short shifter.
I've heard horror stories and seen the cheapies fail in person. My friend had a OBX short shifter for his DSM....all I can say is that piece of $hit broke itself off the shifter stalk after one too many spirited runs. The neuspeed part feels solid and seems un-destructible as far as ripping itself off the shifter stalk.

which gives "various" feels due to random shifter cable bracket heights.

What feels good to one person may not feel good to another. I bought a 5-speed conversion kit from JDMkid a long time ago, and personally I didn't like his custom OEM short shifter that came with it. The height was PERFECT! But the shifter bracket was welded way too high for me and I hated fighting trying to get the car into Reverse or in 1st. Sometimes I would think I'm in gear..but it wasn't in all the way and it grinded a little when I let go of the clutch. So sometimes custom isn't good unless it's made to your preference.

If you want to go OEM Custom, talk to Yeamans as he makes quality custom shifters for a good price. I've seen the b4 and after product after Accord_Inspired sent his shifter to be re-welded by him and it came back awesome and the overall feel didn't sacrifice just for looks as it shifts just as smoothly as OEM.

great explaination. in all my civics i ran a skunk2 with urethane bushings and whats sad is it was just as good as my shifter in my accord now, lol. i like the shift set up on these cars. my problem is im petite and i have too scoot the seat up too shift gears, but my legs are cramped in doing so.

i like the hight of the shifter cause i can rest my arm on the arm rrest attached too the sean and shift with my wrist all most. when the short shifter im sure ill be better.

i was thinking of getting a forbidden shifter and a neuspeed shifter also, but im not sure how ill work out. i like the hight of the shifter, but not the throw itself. if i can get the shifter itself, shorter along with the neuspeed kit, i will. but personally i think ill be happy with just the neuspeed.

another good thing about the stock shifter is i can rest my hand on it in 5th and skip through tracks......

hows the installation of the neuspeed kit?

I have one, and just like Tommy said, it gives the shifter a different feel..I agree with what he said about the height tho, which is why I ended up cutting my shifter 2 inches lower and welded the OEM thread back on

Personally, it was super easy to install, prolly only took me 10 mins or so..And I got it on Ebay for $40

          Here's a pic..

80 bucks? for a bracket...I dunno I work to hard for my money to spend that, so I made a custom bracket, cost about 40 cents.
