      ^ you getting fuel too?

you have to check for spark and fuel...

      Air > Fuel > spark

      those three!

but if its not starting...check all your grounds ( TRIPLE CHECK the thermostat housing ground ..and Valve cover ground )

if in doubt....scrap the surface for a good contact..then retighten the grounds!

      check ALL the grounds!....ALL

but if you're not getting spark: ( check )

      Ignitor
      Coil
      Ignition Switch
      Grounds
      plugs ( fouled )
      plug wires
      distributor Cap
      distributor rotor button
      FUSES

      if you're not getting fuel:

fuel pressure ( clogged lines, Fuel filter, Fuel Pressure Regulator, gas cap)
Main Fuel Relay ( points need resoldered )
      grounds
      Fuel pump
      Injectors
      Fuel injection resistor
      FUSES

** start with the easy things first mayne!

did you set the timing before attempting the initial startup?

      TDC

that would be a good start if not basically all you need to check. its always something simple !!!

lines rusted...its coming from one of those lines coming from the pump ( under the black plastic cover )..jack up the car..take off the rear tire..( for more clearance )..and take off that cover...find exactly where the pinhole is..and cut that bad section off. ( using a pipe cutter )..go to advanced auto or autozone..and get 2 clamps...and HIGH PRESSURE hose...

replace that bad section with the hose and clamps....

                NOTE:

make sure you unhook the neg.battery cable...and take the fuel cap off!...to depressurize that line!

                easy shit mayne!

thats how I fixed one of my CBs that had the EXACT problem yours did

its its closer to the pump...you'd have to drop the tank..to get a better clearance of the line you're fixing!

make sure..you have a friend to help you...if you drop the tank..to put it back in its slot..because the tank CAN and WILL get caught on the exhaust heatshield thats lining the underbody!.

                Happend to me

I had to use a big flathead and shoehorn the tank back into its hole. ( Oh yeah )

along the tank...theres little plastic clips that holds the fuel pump wire into place..make sure you dont crush those ( looking and observing the tank while its going into its hole/slot )
