keep getting cel

well for the past 2 days i have been getting cel. it will just pop up while im driving but the car drives fine but i do smell oil an i checked that out an no leaks an all the fluids are topped off. i was thinking that it might just be a short or somthing cause the car drives fine

all you can do is pull the code or keep guessing. CEL has about 100 things it COULD be and none have to do with the oil level.

it will give you a numeric code if you short it out and turn the key on. there is a sticky on it.

where in the hell does it say that i aint do nothing about it. an if i knew how to pull the code do you think that i would have made a thread about it no i didnt think so. i asked a simple question an i got a simple answer thx tho
