I was using Pennzoil Platinum (Group III, one that some people don't consider a true synthetic, but close enough for me) that I got for half price, has no notable oil loss between changes using the 7,500 mile interval. Next I'll be using some Valvoline SynPower (also group III) I also got for half price. Both are an Energy Conserving SM rated oil.
Haven't heard of SynPower before, is that their synthetic-blend? Also, is Pennzoil Platinum a synthetic blend as well? (Doesn't Group III = partially synthetic?)
