i dont think jdm motors have any numbers after the 4th letter

ie. b18c could be R, GSR

what the fia really is..not fast idle thermo valve

the fia is the fuel injection air control valve. it basically injects more air at the fuel injectors for the f22b1 vtec engines. it bolts to the throttle cable bracket on the f22b1 intake manifolds. it supplies more air if i remember correclty at like 2000+ rpm basically when vtec kicks in



i have the swap and didnt hook it up and it ran fine. if you look my car in memeers ride youll see the intake with the extra nipple on the intake near where the egr mounts. youll also see the extra holes just above the intake runner where the air enters the injectors
