Intake Option

I just found out that a short ram intake from a Toyota Tacoma fits nicely on on our little cb7s....

Thats a ram air intake? Looks more like a short ram. Ram air actually has some sort of guidance of external air going directly into the intake.

could always fab out a small little hoodscoop to shoot air right on to the fliter then you would have ram air

I always thought about taking a stock camry air box use the top to filp it upside down so then just cut a hole in the hood, sorry I suck at explaining

what year tacoma is it from?

I would think its from the older 4 cylinder if not the v6 ones. Just look into volant intake systems. They are really popular with trucks.

this is actually from a Mazda Mx-6 if i remember correctly

it was a cold air, but i cut it and it fit nicely (unlike my AEM that grew a hole in the back from rubbing on some ABS component )

The volant cai is from a 2003 tacoma, It comes with a box that the filer goes into, but I removed it.

fits very nicely, you have to block off one port on the back, and cut the tubing a little bit (the tacoma has a MAS) but it goes right in!
