    fuel pump voltage

    ok simple question

i've been trying to diagnose why my fuel pump is not coming on and we've come to the conclusion that the connection in the back of the seat has only 6 volts going to it

so i have 2 questions; does my pump require 12volts and if it does what would cause such low current?

Did you check the main relay? Could be worn solder joints or corroded wire.

so to pump it up, how much voltage does the pump require?

or i jus skip out that my wiring is bad and automatically rule its my fuel pump?
