Cruise Control Not Working

The main control button engages, then the secondary also engages, but the speed coasts down after engagement. I know how to use cruise, so don't say I'm not doing it right. It just doesn't maintain the set speed.

What could I check? Is it cheap or expensive to fix?

Its not all that hard to fix. Busted lx and a couple of others told me it can be 1 of three things. The actual cruise control fuse, the actuator thats on the inner fenderwell of the drivers side and last but not least the throttle cable actualtor to lock the desired speed into place during engagement.

I gave up on that and just decided to let my ass go numb. Speakin of the actualto when you go into the fenderwell you must also make sure theres no leaks on the rubber hoses casue the computer reads the pressure inside it and it can turn off the engagement as it pleases so you wanna keep that in mind aswell.
