Starter Problems

I have a question. About a week ago when i go and turn on my car my like starter or something in the area is like wicked Loud and u can hear it. It's like this everytime i start the car and sometimes it stalls.


Does this mean my starter is gone? Or on its way

Hopefully its just your starter cause its not that hard to replace.

Take your starter to your local auto zone or advance discount auto parts store and have it bench tested that should let you know if the starter is making the noise. As far as it stalling I don't know. It may be unrelated.

You don't have to remove the starter to have it tested. Midas or Autozone should have a computer that they use to test the starter while it's still in the car. They just pop it right onto your battery and have you start the car.

True, The starter doesn't have to be removed. Although It isn't very hard to do and Removing it would definitly help single out the noise that you are hearing, and narrow down the problem.
