I can smell gas outside my car anytime i put more then 20 buck (CND) in... is there anything that usually goes... tank, line, ect?

Check the tube coming down from the gas door. It should be marked as to which way is up if it is upside down it'll leak slowly when your tank is pretty full.Ace 22
