    steering system

i have a problem with the steering system.
    1. first when i go straigh my steering wheel stays kind of in the left.(don't stay straight)
    2. when i hit something or a pothole my steering wheel feels that. it kinds of turns on the side of the pothole?

anyone know what's wrong with it?

Mine does the same lol, I've just dealt with it...my car still goes strait if you let go of the steering wheel so I've just left it. I bet all cars wheels turn with the pothole just because our cars are so light and the power steering works so well it just flows with it.

are you saying that when you drive your steering wheel is a little cock-eyed towards the left? b/c mine is too and i just that it was because i found a different stock steering wheel and put it on myself...mine is 91 so i thought i had grabbed a 92-93 steering wheel and it just didn't line up the same and the threads might have been different.

i still hate it too..glad mine isn't the only one.

so am i describing the same thing....or am i just weird?

No my steering wheel is cocked to the left, the car still drives in a strait line, and you don't really notice it, or at least I don't, because I'm not looking at the wheel when I'm driving and I usually drive with one hand on the top of the wheel anyways.

I know thats what happened to mine.

I had an alignment done one time and the steering wheel was the same. But I am going to get another alignment soon and I am going to ask them to line up the steering wheel when they do the alignment.
