Well, guys, its official. My engine was blown, at precisely 10:42 A.M this morning. Im pretty much gonna hate life for the next few months.. Anywho, yea, so I have to get a new motor since my f22a4 is now busted. I have no input on to which one I should get. I have 200 dollars right now, and my dad said he would throw in the rest. He said the limit on the motor was $800. Also, I cant order from the internet, so I have to go to the yard...Anyone got any advice as to what kind of motor I should look into other than the F22a models?

Maybe an older h23 out of a prelude? Can find that obd1 and hopefully cheap enough...?

Oh, those are from the 90-93 models too?..I think they have 150 or 145 hp. Im not sure..But will I be able to find one of those at the junkyard?

Yea, I was looking into that too, or an h22.. Only problem is those preludes are hard to find at yards. And even if I do find one, i'll rarely see one with the motor still in it

hmm...ive never seen a bb4 at any of the yards ive gone to. But thats here in the midwest. I just know that an a6 from ebay is running about $900. If you call around you may be able to find motor-only for under $800. I knows its possible, just depends on your area. Or maybe talk your pops into looking on the net. If all else fails, ask a yard if they can order one for you

Well on craigslist I see h22's that need a little work for 700 pop up. And I see f22ax for like 100 to 200 dollars. haha. So you can do it, but I think an h23 could come up for that price. Check out craigslist in your area, check it like constantly. haha.
