    muffler question (dropped)

looked at my car this morning and the muffler was dangling off the bottom, but not touching the floor....

no idea how this happening, haven't banged into any curbs or run over anything that may have caused it to dislodge....

so i see the two hooks which are around the muffler that should just hook back to underneath the car (i think), but it keeps slipping out....

    i'll take a pic if i can....

question.... don't you just hook the muffler back up to the bottom of the car? i s there some other piece missing that these hooks hang on to?

    *confused*

you might have to purchase 2 new rubber bushing/hangers for the muffler.

ah ok... and those would get attached to the hooks on the muffler or to under the car? if under the car, guessing there are some slots, holes, something to connect these?
