So I know my IAB's are stuck open. I was wondering what sort of performance loss I'm having with this problem? I'm fixing it soon enough, but I've been running like this for a while, can any damage occur from it?

Oh, yeah if you're turbo it might be better to keep them open, because it will help maximize airflow. Unless you need torque when the turbos not spooled.
If your turbo doesn't start boosting until around 4700 rpm, then they're limiting you.
In fact, one of these would probably help more.

where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

iab will just be a restriction in the flow of air. Just leave them off. You have the turbo to cancel out the need for iab.

check this thread out http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...5&page=5&pp=20
^^^he gutted his intake mani and said his top end is endless...i agree for turbo to leave iab's open
or you can use this http://www.blacktrax.net/BTP_IMS.html ...it replaces the iab's with a spacer/iab delete

i left mine open when i had it, just lost a little low end torque....but not bad. id say it starts to kick back in about 3300 rpm
i thought it being open was better for the turbo? What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
