Steering feels overboosted?

Just wondering about this. Lately, it seems like my steering seems to feel overboosted. Like I could get in another car and drive it, then when I get in the Accord, it seems like theres no wheels connected to the steering wheel. It also seems like there is some play in the steering wheel when it is on-center. Maybe its just me. Just wondering if it means something else is gonna break on me.

Could having a bad CV joint have something to do with this?

There is a speed valve deal in the high pressure line. Mine was like that in my old car. When I took out PS its a bit more sensitive.

Not that I know of unless you wanna chop the valve My steering is still kinda loose with ps off but i get some. But then I got some worn joints so that makes sense lol.

You can adjust the tightness in the feel of the power steering.

could be related to your tires, and alignment, check those too.

You can tighten the rack guide nut to change the feel.
