cant shift into 1,4, or get out of reverse

title says it all i cant shift into first or fourth and once i am in reverse i cant get out of it (if i try to shift into fifth and then go down to fourth it shifts out) unless someone tries to shift and then i go in and manually whack/push whatever the hell the piece is called at the end of the shift linkage lol. so umm any ideas?

Check your tranny fluid, I had a simillar problem and I didn't check the fluid. Turns out the drain plug was loose and there wasn't any fluid in the tranny. The shop that did my clutch forgot to tighten the plug. Needless to say, my tranny broke and siezed up.

If you have to whack it for it to disengage you have a problem As alredy mentioned check trans fluid level and all that stuff. Make sure cables arent binding anywhere.

k ill check the fluid but i may just use this as an excuse to get the h22 trans
