if it was a stuck lifter it would steal be stuck when you give it gas ...
so that eliminates thatThe local asshole, 19 years in the making and still not giving a shit

You got gas and spark but its not firing? Kinda doesnt make sense unless you dont have compression in those cylinders. How do you know they are not firing?

ok guys so i am gonna try to give this another shot... evidently cylinders one and two are running lean... i am guessing that is causing the misfire. i know its lean cuz when i changed spark plugs the tips were white... all brand new injectors, checked resistor box and wiring to injectors.... i think it may be ecu related as my cel stays on when i try to jump it... any help would be appreciated.
edit: new symptom... engine bogs when first started... it wont accelerate and car jerks... then it goes away after a few minutes of driving and is fine.
2nd edit: just drove the car and it misfires occasionally as wellLast edited by newtuner7; 08-08-2007, 11:01 PM.

After testing the injectors, then the resistors, it says to check fuel pressure and the regulator

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

with your car running at idle, pull your spark plug wires one at a time. for example, pull spark plug wire 1, idle no change. (engine missing already) pull 2 and idle went down to where car almost died.
obviously #2 is fine because the idle almost made car die. this is just an example though. good luck. The beginning of a new era............................

good fuel pressure means good fuel system. unless the injectors are not firing. if spark plugs are good, meaning not bad, then you may have to check valve lash. tight valves can cause your car to not fire on that cylinder. but I haven't seen one on an accord yet. if your valves are good and still misfiring, I would do a compression check. and go from there. let us know brother. The beginning of a new era............................
