Put key in the shift lock and press down on the key and put the shift in "N" Then move the steering wheel to see if it isn't in the locked position. Try starting it if the steering wheel is unlocked. If the key still won't move...IDK.. Check all connections and fuses. Make sure doors and trunk are closed.

Hey! Did my answer work? I'm not even sure if I'm right. Had that problem on my coupe and it worked.....steering was way locked and had to force it to finally move and then the key worked.

Sometimes you gotta wiggle the wheel for it to slide out. If that doesnt work could be a bad ignition switch or that one sensor in the center console is acting up forgot the name at the minute.
