    ignition coil blowing

ok heres the deal, 8 months ago I was driving and my car died, the engine just stopped and the car vibrated to a stop, it kept cranking but wouldn't start. I went back and hour later and it started right up. Everything was fine until last month, It died exaclty the same way. I checked and there was no spark coming off the coil. I went and got a new one, popped it in and the car worked fine. Today my dad took it and it died again, same thing. I knew it was the coil and I checked it and it was dead. I brought it back and they gave me a new one. I popped it in and it started and I drove it 200 feet before it died again. I pushed it to a garage. does anyone have any idea why the fuck it keeps blowing. How come the fuse isn't blowing instead? anyone ever heard of this happening

You buying an OEM coil or just random aftermarket? Hmm that is interesting.

Can you check your number 15 and number 19 fuses and confirm that they are 80A and 50A, respectively, and in good condition?

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

You probably could've just replaced the Ignition Control Module, I was going to tell you to test that but too late!

Hmm, perhaps the o-ring needed to be replaced?

I got the outer one replaced in Feb. The inner one went, and the igniter was shorting the coils
