whats better to use to weld stock exhaust, mig wire feed welder or arc stick welder?

    stick welders are better suited for stronger applications(dolly legs on a 53' trailer, crossmembers,etc). For exhaust, you definetly want a wire welder.turn the gas on, set the appropriate setting for your wire speed, peel your earsback and go to work

      what if I dont have funds to get gas welding, will a mig wirefeed electric welder work as fine?

        i used oxy acetlyne to complete an exhaust mid pipe on my beater camry. im tihnking in investing in a bottle of mapp gas.

          yeah, but with the argon the welds look much better. no weld skip, less burn holes, etc. Keeps contaminents out. use what u got man.

            oxysedaline? map gass, do you use this by heating up the wire and letting it melt on the metal like solder?

              pretty much, it is slow but it gets the job done if done right without using much money
