    what are the rods?

    what are the rods that go from the tranny to the wheels to turn them? if you have the name i would like to adhere to it. and i would like to know wheres a good cheap place to buy them new?

    Drive axles, I think... why do you need them? If they're 'clicking', then yea, your gonna want to replace them. Thats the cv joints clicking, meaning that theres no more grease in the boots. Check to see if they're cracked or ripped, or if there is grease everywhere. I have to replace mine.

    Pep Boys carries them for about $130 bucks, with the cores... without the cores, add $100 to that..

      you mean CV axles? I'd just get those from Napa man

        axles do not turn the wheels....the tie-rods turn the wheels...and yes those are the axles that are connected to the tranny....if you get em from autozone they give you a lifetime warratny as long as you dont snap em in half.

          well...they do make the wheels turn..but they dont make the car turn.

            Damm thats alot for axles. I pay $56 with tax for each side. Brand New with NO core deposit.

                well looks like i solved that problem. now where is a good aftermarket place to get them that have good quality and a good price for them?
