Do it yourself and save. If you already have the motor, that's good. (I haven't a clue as to how to remove the old motor from the regulator rails) If you know how to remove the panel and then remove the regulator then all is find from there. What you'll need to do is check the cable and the white plastic guides for them to see if any of them are broken, if the guides are broken..get a new regulator rail. If you heard the motor going but the window not going up...motor is most likely fine and it's those white guides are broken. Good luck. All I could find for now http://autorepair.about.com/cs/faqs/l/bl066e.htm

Its been down fro almost a year and a half now I've been throught 3 different motors and the window still is not moving. It does pull electricity from the car, I know because the engines idles differently. which tells me the motor is good but the window is just stuck, I'm so fed up with it I'm taking it to my mechanics, But I was just looking for a ball park price on the total I can expect to be out for that stupid thing!

What was the outcome? Did you do it or the mechanic?
