is there a way to quiet my exhaust w/o changing it?

okay so i bought an axle back magnaflow performance muffler when i was younger... and well now, i don't really like how loud it sounds, so is there anything i can do to make it quieter? kinda annoying and making me go deaf heh..... when i just hit cruise control on the frwy. thanks.

tell you the truth, your best bet would be good sized resonators

All I gotta really say is:
People of cb7tuner, this AUTO is NOT a joke. It has impressed ME, the hater of auto's.

I have a DC 2500 series muffler, and 2.25 piping to the cat. I want to get a resonator, but im afraid it will sound stock. If i put a decent sized resonator on, will you still be able to hear and notice the aftermarket exhaust?
