okay so i had a CEL for the VTEC pressure sensor. i replaced it with a new one, redid the wiring because it was shitty and it still doesnt engage. i dont have a CEL and the switch is grounded, any ideas?

1. Engine must be up to operating temp.
2. OIl level must be enough.
3. VTEC doesnt work in neutral.
4. Engages above 10mph or some crap like that.

are you sure that you have the wires to the correct pin position on the ecu plugs?? since you did the wiring over again... just a thought. double check that.F22a1-->F22A-->H22A-->auto-2-5spd-->K20 6spd-->F22C 6spd RWD-->4G63 6spd AWD-->K24 6spd????

Thats what I am doing, I am replacing the stock PR3 ECU on my CRX and getting an upgraded Spoon PR3 ECU (OBD0). Did your car go into limp mode recently, happened to me so my soulution was to go with a new ECU and go from there.
