Need advice with cam?

For as long as I can remember, I have been able to hear my cam ticking (hitting the lobes). I was using 5W-30 oil some 15-20,000 mile ago then stepped up to 10W-30. Lately the ticking still is occuring. Not real loud, but loud enough that if you are 10 feet away you can hear the cam hitting the lobes. What should I do?

then again Honda's are known for their ticking.
