I cleaned my iac valve, put 12 volts to it and got a click
i changed my igniter, which was giving an orange spark, went to msd coil and all new tune up.
the sparkplugs were white when i took them out. i know i need a tune, but besides that, when its warm i get a random popping noise. the hotter the car gets, the worse the popping, only under deceleration though.
i thought it was the iac, but it looks to be ok when i give it 12 volts, when the car stalls, it starts back up everytime, but it dies when i let off the gas so that would lead me to believe its not the relay. igniter has been replaced so its not that.
When the main relay goes bad, you cant start the car up right after because its hot right? mine starts up.
Can an iac valve still be bad, even though it looks clean, and clicks when i put 12 volts to it?
