    Might trade got some questions

well i may trade my 91 lx 5 speed 4dr for a 2dr ex green rims lowered can 5 speed.

my accord runs good, it burns a lil oil but o well. i was just wondering about the ex i may trade for. The guy says (is a friend) that it ran good, drove it to the gas station came back home, then went to start it the next day and all it does is turn over. Now he claims he did a spark check but i will redo that. Is there anything that would be a prone object to failing to make it not run. now i'll check for fuel pressure spark. all the obvious stuff. ive gotten my blazer to run fine i got that for free with basic tinkering, and i would say im not a amature to cars n such and i have some good sources for info and help. Now he says no spark and he says its the dist. well im unsure and id hate to trade cause its my dd (my 91 lx) and if i trade and dont get it running soon im Sol, know what i mean. just though id ask on here before i go threw with it.

o and my car has 260k miles on it haha ya its alot. the ex has 120k i figured even if i cant get it running im good. mine has a salvage title broken bumpers n shit. i'll probably do it. thanks for the help guys

if it was hot outside your most likely problem would be the all too well known main relay problem but the best way to check that is to try to start it at night when its cool outside if it does fine try it in the heat the next day and if it doesnt start your problem is the main relay. check to make sure you are getting spark and fuel
