okay my pressure switch is shot and i dont have the cash for a new one so i want to wire in a switch so i can manual turn it on. now i know i need to wire in a ground, but would i connect the wire that goes to the ecu to the switch? also do i have to run power to the switch?

yeah, but I would recommend not doing this. Seen it done before and it has caused nothing but problems. Just my opinion -
Just dont hit vtec until you get a pressure switch.
