    Cluster=Dead

    So this morning I jumped in my car, started fine and everything. About a minute later I realized my tach was sitting dead, speedometer dead, signals not making their usual clicking noise (and on later inspection, not blinking on the outside either). Basically the cluster was dead. Checked a couple fuses, the one for the tailights was busted so replaced it, as soon as I turned on the car to check the taillights, they worked for like 2 sec. then the fuse burnt out again. Anyway, whats going on with my car? Thanks!

    you have a short somewhere. possibly cause by a screw getting wound into a wire harness when installing a bodykit.

        No, I haven't done anything to my car as of late. Cleaned the air filter thats about it. I don't know about a screw going into a wire harness as the bodykit has been on for quite a while now and never had any problems before. Anyway, keep the suggestions coming!

          Hmm I see but car and everything starts up fine? You check fuses and such? If your tail light fuse busted immediately you have a short to ground somewhere in the system which basically means you have bare wire touching metal. So time to trace lines oh yea!
