    Door Hinge Pins

My drivers door is starting to sag. I called around looking for a hinge pin kit but nobody had anything. I talked to one of my friends that is a big Honda guy about it and he said the dealer probley wont have it if the car is over 10 years old. I will check with the dealer when I get a chance but its an hour away.

Anybody on here ever done the pins? If so where did you get the pin and bushings at?

Yeah I see your in Des Moines, thats alittle ways away. I am on the Iowa Illinois border.

I didnt go to the junkyard yet. I would rather just put new ones in instead of used. I am going to check the dealer first before that happens though.

I have never done pins on a Honda. I have on several Fords n Chevys and the like over the years. Usually when you replace the pins there are new brass bushings that you put in the hinge holes which makes them as good as new.

I would rather just go with new, if the dealership dont have them then I will have to get one out and try to find some bushings of the same diameter to put in.
