    oil in the intake

    hey guys i just took off my intake manifold for my h22 and i find there to be a light film of oil inside the runners and my gasket was soaked with it anybody know any possible reasons why?
    U dont work U dont eat
    U dont grind Udont shine
    1st car 90 CB7 lx auto coupe
    present car 90 CB7 ex clutch coupe
    1st motor f22a1 2nd motor f22a4 present motor JDM H22a with m2b4 trans

      i get oil in the hose that from the valve cover to the intake. do u have that hooked up or do u have a breather?

        it's normal for a certain amount of oil to enter the intake manifold through the breather hoses. that's why some people install oil catch cans. later.

          i have a breather from the valve cover to intake pipe. could it be coming through the pvc valve?

            that too...just install a oil catch can & u'll be set
