How do you install spark plugs

Well i was looking and i found this.... (see below) I dont get this. If i go out and get new spark plugs how to i properly install them? Just turn them until there tight?

    Help me out,

    Spark plug info

Here is what service manual calls out for:

The following are to be replaced every 30,000 miles

    Normal driving:

    ZFR5F-11 (NGK)
    KJ16CR-L11 (ND or Nippon Denso)

Hot Climates or Continuous High Speed Driving:

    ZFR6F-11 (NGK)
    KJ20CR-L11 (ND or Nippon Denso)

Spark plug gap 1.0-1.1 mm or 0.039-0.043 in

Torque plugs to 18 Nm or 13 lb-ft

buy a spark plug socket, when engines cool remove the 4 old plugs and throw them away. with that same spark plug socket install the new spark plugs one at a time.do not overtighten them because if you do your fucked royaly.just remove the old ones.and when putting in the new ones just tighten them until there snug.i forget the torque specs but you will probably use a reguler wrench anyway.and just tell auto zone or whoever you go to the size of your engine and they will tell you the plugs they have for your car.they go from $1.69 a piece to big bucks.just get ngk coppers.

go buy some anti seis from the auto store and put it on the thread.

make sure to buy a gapper for the spark plug and re-gapp the new spark plugs, sometimes they get banged around....i forgot the factory gapp but look on ur hood and u will see the gap in MM

put em in and if u dont have a torque wrench use a normal ratchet and when u get it a bit tight, turn half more a turn..and to test reverse it to see how tight it is, if its really loose then it will come out easy and u have to tighten it more, but if its pretty tight then u got it right =)
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I think half a turn is too much... that would prob strip the threads...

If i remember right...the "mantra" on an aluminum head is make them finger tight and then an 1/8th turn or a with the ratchet...if you don't have the ability tot tq them down to 14lbs...

NGK's are pregapped usually but it is a good idea to doublecheck like ztech says and the anti-seize on the threads is pure gospel... you can also get the electrical conducting goo to help out a bit...

and just from what I've noticed experimenting with plugs and gaps...just like the manual says.... the ZFR5F-11's are perfect with the pre-gapped .043 until you start seeing really high summer temps...like 98+... then you start cooking the electrodes after long freeway jaunts...

those guys who wrote the manual are pretty smart... I can verify it firsthand though...

On top of that just take them out with a deep socket when its loose jigglin all around instide the plug hole. Remove them with the sparkplug wire itself until it clicks and then replace em. Thats baby work right there dont tighted the plugs though on the install too tight cause it may strip get some ngk iridiums it will take awhile to go bad on them and they come pregapped Oh joy!

the ngk i got was pregapped, but when i checked it they wernt at spec, i had to open it a bit more to reach the factory gapping...just something to take 5 minutes and do.

I don't know if this helps any at all but it's something I've always done. I mark on the top of the spark plug the position of the outer electrode. When tightening the spark plug down, I make sure this mark is facing towards me. In theory, if the air and fuel do not have to pass the outer electrode in order to get to the spark, you have a much more efficient combustion. Not saying it works or anything, just what I do. I can't say there's been any gains because honestly, I've never done it not using this method.

i heard about this, never gotten around to try it but it somehow helps the air fuel mixture...

                    but oh well

I had some deusche bag at pep boys try to tell me that i had to buy platinum plugs and that he couldnt sell me the copper plugs. He said the copper plugs would hurt my engine! Yeah right! So i showed him my air box that says right on it to use the copper plugs. That shut him up real quick.
