    CV shafts

    yeah...

the driverside CV axle on a manual accord, looks very similar in size(length) to the passengerside, right?

    #2
Umm....that driver side is attached to the intermediate shaft..( from the way it looks.....the passenger side looks to be the same length as of the driver side... from a glimpse ) but my best bet would be....measure em both! ( I personally haven't done that )..but give it a try..measure it and see if they are the same length!

and then check to see if the inner CVs are the same!...for example

    PASSENGER CV: INNER-( Transaxle )
DRIVER CV: INNER ( intermediate shaft )

see if the ends are the same of both CV joints ( check the ball bearings on the inner cv joints )
my opinion...I dont think they are the same size...but I dunno..its just a guess...I never took that into consideration!

What's your point? If you're trying to see if you can swap parts over, I'd compare part numbers to determine if they are the same. If they don't share the same part number then, well get the proper part (if that's what you're implying here).
