power totally cut out

this morning i was racing some civic and 4th gear about 6500rpm the engine just cut out.
i dunno if there is some kind of govener or what but i am a lil scared (i have droped alot of $$ in to this car for the h22) it has never happened before and as soon as i shifted ing to 5th it kept pullin plz give me some news that could settle my nerves

After It Happened I Shifted In To 5th And It Was Fine I Just Dont Know If It Was Some Kind Of Governing System Or Some Thing

Is it throwing a CEL. 6500 huh..in every gear?

it did it for the first time and i happend in 4th around 6500rpm

its either a spark or fuel problem....more likely a spark problem

Thats what Im saying. I dont go past 4000, 4200 if Im really pushing it.
