car won't run pass 4500 rpm

for some reason i just got a 91 ex and just had a valve job done to it now whenever i hit the gas it won't go it'll stutter down to less than 4500 rpms before it will go.....is this a valve problem?

hmmm....if you just had a valve job, that means the head was off, so I'm thinking cam timing on this one. Just take it back to the shop where you had the valve job done, its probably their mistake.

hey check the timing - i waz 1 tooth off on the timing belt and it ran w/ NO power although it the engine was louder than the exhaust
