Well i heard new spark plugs can help your mpg, so are there any better ones than others? I need some new ones for the accord.

What he said. Those platinum, or multiprong plugs only cause problems.

Your major tuneup:

Spark plugs
Spark plug wires
Distributor cap
Fuel filter

And run some fuel injector cleaner. I use Lucas.
