    WOT at idle?

ok i've already asked this but this is what i have done.

ive tooken off the plenium and has new gasket and sealed with gasket sealer.
has new gasket between engine block and intake manifold.
ive checked all lines and found only one crack but wasnt the problem.

what else could it be. is the motor i got bad or something? what is causing this . as soon as i start it its WOt all the way to redline. its weird as hell ive never seen any thing like this especially if its a vac leak.

tps sensor, check if its one right, and if its calibrated correctly.

also, check your throttle cable, might be pulled all the way.

I'd check for vacuum leaks and you throttle body. I'd take the throttle body itself off and inspect it. Make sure it closes properly and doesn't bind. Make sure it operates correct with the cable on as well. Then, just make sure there aren't any major leaks. But even with a leak it shouldn't be revving so high. If I unplug a nipple it just raises the idle by maybe 1k.

where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

a vac leak wont cause the car to rev that high, not matter how big the leak.

its gota be something related to the tps or your throttle cable.

throttle cable is totally fine i even took it off and same thing. its not even giving a CEL. it has to be a sensor or something. or the computer is not reading it properly. remember i bought a longblock and bolted the external stuff off the old motor. this is so odd its rediculous. who wants easy money??? LOL

sooo the TPS.. thats the sensor on the throttle body correct? how is that adjustable if its bolted solid? i hate haynes manauls they tell you nothing... bluh

again tps. take it out an clean, and re-calibrate.... i'll look up on that.

Thanks guys. any more ideas are great.

do you have all the sensors in the correct spots?

check your throttle to see if its open or not.

yeah i can check it when im not starting the car. but its not open. it might be open a little when i start it but idk cuz im in the car and cant see whats going on around the motor. and theres no one around to help just a bunch a rich dummies. (speaking of rich dummies i had to pull a tourist out of the snow bank yesterday. she was high centered and 3 wheeling in here brand new ford lol. and yes they think that 4 wheel drive keeps them same lol not really.)

if its not giving a CEL then ill check all my sensors again. is there a thread of engine bay pics? i couldnt find any except the turbo engine bay one?

start the car, get out and check to see if the throttle rotor is all the way open. then check for whats holding it there.

it could also be your cruise control cable.

Souds like a HUGE vaccum leak. When you tightend the manifold bolts on the head, did you tighten them in the tighting pattern? Cuz you can tear the gasket if you dont tighten them correctly. And Never put sealer on intake manifold gaskets. Always put Intake gaskets on dry. Hope I could Help.

Is the FITV, starting valve, or IACV missing?
I know it'd be hard to do, but ya never know.
