A slight nocking

So lately my cars been running like shit. I switched out some stuff and it was running okay. Now today i was out driving. I went from a dead stop. I drove regular through first gear and went into second. When i went into second i rode it out to about 3.5. or 4. At 4 i pushed the gas down and the car didnt go anywere. The engine wasnt nocking like banging hard but i could hear it. What could this be? Its only in second gear. I hate having these problems. Let me know what it can be.

Car wasnt going anywhere huh...Be more specific please? Is the clutch slipping? As for the knocking sound is it constant throughout the RPM range aka does it get louder as engine revs go up or speed up? Or does it just knock at that rpm?

It was nocking at the rpm. Speed didnt go up or anything. I didnt get off the gas cause i first i didnt realize what was going on and then a couple seconds later the rpm and speed finally went up. It was like something was holding its power back just for those few seconds. It was a soft rapid nocking.

Hmm if its just at that RPM take a look at your motor mount.

Well so far its running okay. I added a quart of oil. not sure if that fixed it but its running good so far. The only thing i have to fix is my exhaust leak. The only problem with it is that who ever put it together they welded the bolt onto the headers so i have to cut them off and re drill the hole. and get a new gasket.

they welded the bolts on the header? why would they do this? ..But my GUESS is gas quality..idk for sure.
