    Low oil pressure on hybrid??

I have a jdm f22a and usdm h23 hybrid and i have a feeling of low oil pressure. I have recently done an oil pan gasket and the pickup for the oil pump is clean and at the right height, but when i start my car, the oil light stays on a lot longer than it used to. Is this normal for these hybrid motors and are the f22b and f22a oil pumps different becuase i have an f22b block that can act as an oil pump donor if this will fix my problem. Anyone have experience with this?

Check the oil sending unit maybe.

I tried a spare and same thing. Are the DOHC pumps bigger?? I also read about someone saying these hybrids have a bad habbit of spinning bearings due to a believed low oil pressure. Any input??

Hmm do you have an oil pressure gauge thats telling you this. I am not sure if the pumps are different. Try reading the the head swap deal? I think there are a few writeups on the swap you might want to check out.
