whats wrong, clutch, slave cylinder..??

okay, well my car doesnt want to go in gear sometimes. when i first start it up, let it warm up and drive it, its fine. but once i drive it for a bit it becomes very difficult to put into gear. i have to push it pretty damn hard to get it in first gear. i had my dad push the clutch and the slave cylinder on the transmission seems like its functioning fine. any ideas?

bleed the clutch.

Easiest thing to check first is if you have fluid in the clutch master cylinder.
