    P06 Question. It's a quick one...

Okay, I'm doing a H23/F22 frank in my CB. I know everyone says to run the P06 ECU. My question is, since it has to be chipped anyway, is it going to matter if I get a Auto or 5spd version? I'm going to be running an auto in mine....

    Thanks for any input.
    Rob

I'm just worried about the pins not being the same. Altho, they probably aren't anyway, lol.

it doesnt matter. an auto->manual conversion takes a whole 6 seconds of soldering

Sweet. So is $85 shipped a good price? And I assume it'd be the same 6 seconds for manual ----> Auto, correct?

Cool. I'll keep looking for the right price.

Just to make sure... The auto to manual is easy, and the manual to auto is just the reverse of that, right?

I found a virgin auto on Ebay that I'm winning right now, but if that falls thru I will be getting ahold of you.

I was asking about the manual to auto just in case I couldn't find an auto version was all. Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate the tolerance for my noobishness, lol. First Honda I've built, not really up on all the ins and outs yet.

It doesnt matter if its auto or manaual...you can use a manual p06 with an Auto cb7.

that confused the shit out of me.

you guys are buying these ecu's for super high prices man. The most I've spent on a p06 is 35

Then i turn around and sell them for $60 on ebay or xenocron.

When I chip ecu's, I usually charge 100+ the ecu. which the price always ranges from 130-150.
