I took off my fuel filter and tryed to start the car and no fuel at all, I didn't even here the fuelpump turn on.My question is will it still turn or engage if my main relay is bad?Thanks alot>>>>

no, because the main relay is what powers the fuel pump and primes it, if its not getting power fuel will not flow through the system

Yes...As mentioned check the relay first before wasting your money on a pump.
