Why dont you just invest in an H22A Plenum?

ive been thinking about how i hooked up the hoses on the iacv and i have a few Q's
1: could hooking up the hoses backwords cause the iacv to not work right?
2:which hose is the inlet the one on the thermostat or the one closer to the front of the engin?
guess id better give ya the run down on exactly whats happening .
Ok i just installed an h23 planum onto my f20b, at first it ran fine normal cold idle around 1500 rpm it stayd there for a few minutes then slowly started to raise then once it hit about 1700-1800 rpm it dropped to around 1300 rpm and started surging between 1300 and 1500. So im thinking that the iacv could be bad, so i take off the one that was already on the h23 plenum and installed the one that was previously on my f22. I start it up and it immediatly revs to 2k and and i hear somthing click, then it sputters and diesLast edited by almostJDM; 03-04-2007, 11:08 PM.
