    fully synthetic in manual tranny?

I was wondering is it possible to put fully synthetic in your motor and manual tranny for the h22? My freind has a b16a hatchback and been doing this for a while now.It even got a thread bout this on honda-tech bout using 10w-30 on our tranny fluid instead of using oem honda tranny fluid? Can this be done?

Just use the OEM trans fluid. People use synchromesh and all that but I like the OEM stuff. Yes the oil used in trans are similar to 10w30 somewhat. But OEM all the way.

Read the owners manual it gives you what type of oil you can run. I would think 10w30 in Socal. Thats what I run in TX.

Just go to the dealership and get the stuff there, your tranny can't ask much more than that of you.
