Was your coolant temperature sensor replaced in the past? I didn't see it on the list. I was reading how that helped one of the posters on here with similar issues.

try different gas...and i dont think that comparing emissions will give you a valid way to tell if your car is ok....there are so many variables

I was having a similar problem. It turned out to be that my timing belt had slipped one or two teeth. Don't know how it ended up running at all at that point, but oh well. I would check all aspects of your timing. Marks lined up at the cam and flywheel etc....Comment
