car wont start

ITS BEEN DOING IT ALL WEEK.

off and on, it would work one minute then later wont start.

like this morning it started, but the rmp was not move even when i steped on the gas ....any clues about this.


so i drove it and the rpm would not move correctly to where ever the cars rev was.

then it stop, i was sitting at a stand still and it cut off.

fought with just trying to get it to crank for like 30 minutes and it finally did, so i guned it home, got home and stoped it, then tried to start it again and sense then it hasnt started


fustrating the shit out of me


i change the distributor and the cars gettin spark, so i dont kno what it can be.

FPR guage says its gettin fuel once the cars turned on. fuel pump makes the wiring noise. just change the plugs....im just stuck


also, i notice a crack at the top of the head right where the distributor goes into the head at, where the 2 10mm bolts are, could that cause any problems or this problem, could it be that its not getting the correct compression because of this?

right now im just like f it, im gona just fix everything one by one and build the botton end and the heads even more while the cars down

is it automatic or manual?
when the car don't start >>>> does it crank at all??>>might be the starter.
even though u got a new distributor when the car don't start have u checked for spark?????

when the car don't start do u hear the fuel pomp do the charging noise before u start the car???? listen to it when the car don't start.

then it might be the ignition swich but the electrical part of it.<<<< this one has too many symptoms to discribe. but its a well known problems in the cb7
