Hey guys,
I just installed my F22b intake manifold, went for a drive, and my trans. isn't kicking down.
When I go full throttle, it bogs and the trans disengages, and when driving normally it won't down shift when I go part thorttle until like 4500 rpm. and as soon as I let off the throttle all the way, it downshifts really hard no matter what the rpm.
The kickdown cable is hooked up, I transfered my stock throttle rotor and kickdown cable bracket to the new manifold, nothing is kinked. I dunno...can't find my service manual, but when I do I'm going to try and adjust the kickdown cable.
Has anyone else had this problem with the F22b or H23 manifold swap on an auto? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.
