Oil filter I have come to learn is not really in that bad a spot. If you use an OEM filter, which are longer and narrower than the ones you get at advance it is very easy to reach up and unscrew it. I always lay a good foot to the side though, to prevent the oil in the face. And when it comes unscrewed I point the end of it up so I don't spill any more oil.
I had it on jackstands and couldnt really get that far under it. I brought anther can and sucked half a can into the intake.

I always use jackstands, usually they are on the lowest setting. How big are you?

You should have no problems. You seem pretty much the same proportions as me. I am around 5'9'' and 150lbs. With the jack stands about 1 foot tall or so positioned on the front jack points I have plenty of room under there. I only need a creeper now.

Well I guess you are very flexable or something . I got a cheap 20$ walmart speacial jack, it gets it up 2 the 1st level on the stands.

                      Step 1. Buy seafoam.

Step 2. Click the search button.

                      Step 3. Type "seafoam"

                      Step 4. Read.

I'm a big supporter of Seafoam and I've written plenty of posts on it on here, enough that I'm not gonna do it again in this thread. Good luck!
