    Listen To This!!!!

Crankshaft pulley broke this morning, and now I've got a pretty bad noise, and i'm, really not sure what it is. I put on a new crank pulley, rechecked my timing just to be sure and readjusted my valve lash. And it still didn't change anything. SOMEONE PLEASE HIT ME UP WITH SUGGESTIONS CAUSE RIGHT NOW I HAVE NO WAY TO SCHOOL IN PA OR WORK( i'm in delaware)

(click the video)the video is pretty dark but the thing to listen for is the sound, It sound terrible but i have no idea what it is, the car starts fine has oil in it, i pulled a plug wire one by one to see if one was missing, the motor dropped rpms about the same for all 4 cylinders, Its sounds like metal to metal almost like a rod was broken and slappin around or something.

Sounds like a jacked up rod bearing. If it is running on all 4 then it isn't a broken rod, but it could very well be a bearing.

Sorry, but there is no good news with a noise like that.

Well good news and bad, It is a rod bearing. After talking and arguing wth my dad and talking to my friends, I decided to sell the car, I would like to sell it as a whole if possible but i am willing to part out some things, depending on how long it takes to sell it. If someone does want it as a whole, fi you find a h23a1 block for cheap, i would swap the blocks for you. The link to my members ride thread is here. http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...to_threadtools

So its bye to the cb7 world for a little while til after i graduate, then its time for a all motor coupe Tell your friends or whoever so this thing can go to a good home. Not sure what to ask for it, It depends on what all you want. I will be willing to take some parts to lower the price. if someone wants my turbo kit i just bought let me know.
this is the manifold i just bought for SPRING 2007 sucks (also have 3 inch downpipe and ext. wastegate dump) from spooling performance(street-power manifold) not sure if i will sell it but money talks

Change of plans I am gonna keep my car now. I say screw it, i'm damn close to being done with this turbo shit and the OC car show is coming up in a few months SO looks like i need another h23 shortblock, I though i broke my balance shaft, cuz i found a nut damn near pushed through my timing cover and a bad looking groove on my balance shaft belt, i removed the belt today and put everything back together with that belt off and started the car still has the same noise so, main bearings, or rod bearings i'm thinking, SO time to pull the motor again and swap blocks so i can drive this thing again damn hopefully i'll be driving it again in a week or two since the only time i have to work on it is sat. and sundays cuz of school and work, but it'll be fixed
