I heard the Apexi intake filter is one of the best. Are there any other filters that are as good as the apexi?

the reason apexi is better filtration is that they are a paper filter that can filter more, as of k & n filters are a cotton oiled gauze filter, they acheieve their filtration by packing dirt on the surface. they arent as efficient as apexi, but they are great with what they use.
a better one that k & n is airaid. i held both filters up to the light, k & n had more light shinning through and then the airaid had less and its the same type of media, plus the sides actually was a bit more sturdy. i compared the filters for my z side by side =).
but thats my opinion, apexi is a grip haha.What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
